In the modern era, technology has become an integral part of all strategic and security operations. Hezbollah, as one of the active militias in the political and military arena in the Middle East, uses advanced technologies to enhance its tactical communications. Among these technologies, pagers stand out as vital tools in carrying out security missions, although they are for non-military uses. Pagers play an important role in enhancing immediate communication between Hezbollah militia members, especially in operational environments that may be dangerous or critical. Although these devices are not suitable for military use, they enable militia members to summon support or reinforcements at high speed, and they may be used to transmit secret conversations between elements, although they do not contain military-grade encryption, which in turn is prohibited from being imported by Hezbollah militia. In treacherous moments, the pagers carried by Hezbollah exploded suddenly and unknown for a moment, and speculations began as to whether Israel had hacked the devices cybernetically, which led to their explosion, but we rule out this hypothesis as it can only be implemented in this way by injecting a backdoor to extract data in the pager, which would lead to the explosion of the pager belonging to the Hezbollah militia, or there may have been a malfunction in a number of pagers that led to their explosion.
